ABOUT MUSIC THERAPY
Amy Israel has been teaching music since 2009. Israel believes that everyone can benefit from, enjoy, and excel at music. She works to cultivate a passion for music, and a high quality of musicianship in each of her students.
Israel completed her bachelors in piano performance from University of Wisconsin Superior, and a masters of music therapy from Colorado State University. She passed her board certification exam to become a music therapist (MT-BC) in 2016, and completed the Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) training and certification. Israel is committed to keeping her knowledge up to date with continuing education courses, including 2 piano pedagogy courses with Irina Gorin, conferences, private lessons, and participation in professional organizations.
